NewLife Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the country’s leading Plastic Surgery Clinic for face, breast, and body cosmetic procedures, under the helm of Dr. James Joaquino, is all set to look for their NEWLIFE Angels (a male and female), who will eventually be modeling for their brand.
Interested individuals are required to go through the process of application. To qualify, applicants should be at least 18 years old, healthy, must possess good moral character, and willing to undergo the recommended plastic and cosmetic procedures. All hopefuls, who will submit their online application, must also like and follow NewLife’s official social media accounts including those of their co-sponsors. Applicants are required to make a post on their social media accounts informing their family, friends, and followers that they are participating in the“Search for NEWLIFE Angels”.
The application process will run from July 8-15, 2019 and closes on July 16 – 30, 2019. The panel of judges (composed of one representative from each of Newlife co-sponsors and 3 representatives from NEWLIFE), will be given 5 days to decide who makes it to the top 40 (20 males and 20 females). The announcement of the TOP 40 is on August 8, 2019, at 12 noon. The results will be simultaneously published in NewLife’s website along with their co-sponsors’ social media pages.

The Battle Round which commences on August 15, 2019, will determine the TOP 40 candidates who will compete against each other. And here is how the battle rounds will go: The top 40 candidates will be invited for a photo shoot between August, 10 – 14, 2019. The photos of which will be used in the Battle Rounds. Chosen candidates outside of Metro Manila, who are unable to attend the photoshoot may opt to submit their photos through email.
On August 15, 2019, at exactly 12 noon, photos of each of the top 40 candidates will be published in NewLife’s Facebook page. From there onward, the voting kicks off. The photos of the top 40 will be pegged against each other and anyone on Facebook may vote for them.
The number of votes will be computed based on the following “Point Assignment”: The candidate gets 10 votes for every share made on his/her photo and 7 votes for every comment posted. Emoji reactions will be valued based on the above point assignment. The Battle Round will run from August 15-30, 2019. The result of the vote shall form 70% of the total score. 30% will be coming from the panel of judges. This time, the panels of judges are exclusively from NEWLIFE.
The winners of the Search for NEWLIFE Angels will be announced in Newlife’s Social Media Accounts on August 31, 2019.
The life-changing surgical and cosmetic procedures recommended for the two winners in the Transformation Stage will be subject to the discretion of Dr. Juaquino, and upon the winners’ approval too. Once the transformation of the two is completed, NewLife then introduces them to the public as the ambassadors of the #NewLifeAngelMovement.

MEET DR. JAMES JOAQUINO
Dr. James B. Joaquino is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience. He is known as a stern proponent of safe surgical procedure and one of the most trusted names in cosmetic and plastic surgery in the Philippines. He is an active member of the Philippine Board of Plastic Surgery, the Oriental Society for Aesthetic Surgery, and the Philippine Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (PAPRAS).
Dr. J, as he is fondly called by his patients, is a professor of Plastic Surgery in the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC) and currently the section chief of Plastic Surgery in the same center including two other government hospitals. Since 1987, Dr. Joaquino has actively participated in the annual mission of Operation Smile; an international medical charity organization committed to helping improve the health and lives of children all over the globe.
