Formally opening the 2019 Christmas Season, De La Salle University held its Animo Christmas Program last November 28, 4:00 pm, at the Henry Sy, Sr. Hall Grounds.

The program opened with an institutional mass followed by featured performances from the different school divisions as well as from the DLSU Chorale and Dance Troupe.  This year’s theme is “Pasko ay Pag-ibig” which celebrates God’s love and Lasallian unity this Yuletide season.

The Animo Christmas Tree stands at 15 meters high and a base diameter of 10 meters and features more than 600 LED lights, while St. La Salle Hall features the nativity scene.

After the lighting ceremony, a sumptuous dinner was served while the homegrown Lasallian Youth Orchestra and professional bands performed.

Aside from formally opening the Lasallian 2019 Christmas Season, the program also included the blessing of the Carillon Bells which is in honor of the De La Salle Brothers during WWII.
